Atelier Luxus is a Belgian manufacturer of high-end electrical hardware, specializing in luxury switches, sockets and bespoke electrical devices crafted primarily from solid premium brass. As part of the Prado Group, Atelier Luxus is entering a new growth phase. To support this evolution, we are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to support our Research & Development team.  

You will be working with five fellow designers, as well as closely collaborating with the production and commercial teams.  

You will be responsible for transforming design concepts into robust, production-ready mechanical systems. Your role is to ensure that every product meets our highest standards in terms of precision, durability and manufacturability. In the luxury industry, details are not optional, they define the product. 

What you’ll do 

• Develop prototypes, new products and components according to the applicable standards and applicable regulations. 

• Prepare a technical record for the components to be purchased 

• Write the necessary instructions, calculation programs and draft the technical documentation. 

• Cooperate with the production department to have your system ready for production. 

• Look for technical solutions to complaints and work out proposals for improvement. 

• Give technical support to the sales and production department, you also provide the necessary training so that the knowledge is spread across all departments. 

• Participate in R&D meeting where you report on your project. 

• Ensure appropriate documentation and communication so that cooperation with colleagues runs smoothly. 

• Work with talented, experienced colleagues in a fast-growing company. 

• Take full responsibility for the technical robustness, feasibility and documentation of your designs until production readiness. 

What we’re looking for 

• Technical Master (construction, electromechanics, etc.) in Engineering. 

• 3–7 years of experience in product development within a technical manufacturing environment (mechanical systems, hardware, precision components).  

• Preferably knowledge of one of the following fields: technical lighting, joinery, heat dissipation. 

• You have knowledge of 2D and 3D drawing and strength theory. 

• You are always curious about the state of the art and work out the feasibility of new mechanical systems. 

• You get energy from developing ideas into successful finished products. 

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential. 

• You are creative and a driven team player who can also function independently.  

• You are highly rigorous, structured and detail oriented. You understand that in high-end manufacturing, precision is non-negotiable.

Vous travaillerez aux côtés de cinq autres designers et collaborerez étroitement avec les équipes de production et commerciales. 

Vous transformerez les concepts de design en systèmes mécaniques robustes et prêts à la production. Votre rôle consiste à garantir que chaque produit respecte nos standards les plus élevés en matière de précision, de durabilité et de fabricabilité. Dans l’industrie du luxe, les détails ne sont pas optionnels : ils définissent le produit. 

Ce que vous ferez 

• Développer des prototypes, nouveaux produits et composants conformément aux normes et réglementations applicables. 

• Préparer le dossier technique des composants à acheter. 

• Rédiger les instructions nécessaires, les programmes de calcul et élaborer la documentation technique. 

• Collaborer avec le département production pour rendre votre système prêt à la fabrication. 

• Rechercher des solutions techniques aux réclamations et élaborer des propositions d’amélioration. 

• Apporter un support technique aux équipes commerciales et de production, et dispenser les formations nécessaires afin que les connaissances soient diffusées dans tous les services. 

• Participer aux réunions R&D où vous présentez l’avancement de vos projets. 

• Veiller à une documentation et une communication appropriée pour garantir une collaboration fluide avec vos collègues.

• Assumer l’entière responsabilité de la robustesse technique, de la faisabilité et de la documentation de vos conceptions jusqu’à leur maturité pour la production. 

Ce que nous recherchons 

• Master technique (construction, électromécanique, etc.) en ingénierie. 

• 3 à 7 ans d’expérience en développement de produits dans un environnement de fabrication technique (systèmes mécaniques, quincaillerie, composants de précision). 

• Une connaissance dans l’un des domaines suivants est un atout : éclairage technique, menuiserie, dissipation thermique. 

• Vous maîtrisez le dessin 2D et 3D ainsi que la théorie de la résistance des matériaux. 

• Vous êtes toujours curieux des dernières avancées et évaluez la faisabilité de nouveaux systèmes mécaniques. 

• Vous puisez votre énergie dans le développement d’idées jusqu’à l’obtention de produits finis performants. 

• Une excellente maîtrise de l’anglais, à l’écrit comme à l’oral, est indispensable. 

• Vous êtes créatif(ve), un(e) joueur(se) d’équipe motivé(e) capable de travailler de manière autonome. 

• Vous êtes extrêmement rigoureux(se), structuré(e) et attentif(ve) aux détails. Vous comprenez que dans la fabrication haut de gamme, la précision n’est pas négociable. 

• Vous êtes orienté(e) solutions et à l’aise pour prendre en charge des défis techniques.

The role

Atelier Luxus is entering a new phase of growth, and we are building the supply chain function that will carry it through the next decade. We are looking for someone to shape how planning, scheduling and materials coordination work here — designing the processes, standing up the tools, and embedding new ways of working across the site.

This is a hands-on role, not an advisory one. You won't hand a slide deck to someone else to execute — you'll be the one rolling up your sleeves to put much of it in place yourself.

What you will do

Understand the atelier as it is today. Spend real time on the shopfloor and with the team before changing anything. Understand how a custom order moves through the atelier, how the team absorbs a rush request, where time and materials actually go. The best design choices come from there.

Shape the planning roadmap. Translate that understanding into a phased plan for how production planning and materials coordination will evolve at the site, and align everyone on what "done" looks like at each step.

Design the planning and replenishment model. Define the target way of working: planning cadence, replenishment rules, decision rights, master data standards. Simple enough to actually run on a Monday morning.

Build the measurement layer. Stand up the KPIs and visibility — on-time performance, throughput, shortage risk — that the site needs to steer itself.

Lead the ERP rollout on site. Be the business owner for the implementation — BOMs, routings, transactional discipline, change management with the team.

Bring the team along the change. Run pilots, adjust based on what the floor tells you, train people on new ways of working, and make sure new tools replace old ones rather than coexist with them.

What we are looking for

• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Around 3 years of experience, with a clear track record of leading projects or process improvements in an industrial or operations environment — consulting, internal transformation, ERP implementation or operational excellence backgrounds all fit.

• Enough supply chain or production exposure to understand planning fundamentals (MPS, MRP, capacity, S&OP) and design for them. You don't need to have been a master scheduler.

• Comfort building things from the ground up, and the willingness to get your hands dirty doing it — this is as much about pulling processes forward yourself as it is about designing them.

• Strong project management instincts — structuring work, managing stakeholders across very different functions, and finishing what you start.

• Hands-on with ERP (Odoo, D365 or equivalent) and advanced Excel. Having contributed to an ERP implementation is a meaningful asset.

• A bias toward simplification and toward building things that outlast you.

• Credibility on the shopfloor. You respect the work of the artisans and you understand that the plan exists to protect that work, not to compress it.

• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a strong asset.

Dans le cadre de notre appartenance à la Prado Family et d'une nouvelle phase de croissance, nous cherchons un(e) Supply Chain Analyst(e) qui va mettre les mains dans le cambouis pour repenser la façon dont la planification, l'ordonnancement et la coordination des matières fonctionnent ici.
Concevoir les processus, choisir et déployer les bons outils, ancrer de nouvelles façons de travailler sur le site; c'est ça le cœur du poste. Ce n'est pas un rôle de consultant : vous ne préparez pas un rapport que quelqu'un d'autre ira exécuter. Vous êtes la personne qui retrousse ses manches et qui concrétise elle-même une grande partie de ce qui est imaginé.

Vos responsabilités

• Passerez du temps réel sur le terrain et avec l'équipe pour comprendre l'atelier tel qu'il est aujourd'hui. Comment une commande sur mesure circule dans l'atelier, comment l'équipe absorbe une demande urgente, où passent réellement le temps et les matières. C'est de là que viennent les meilleurs choix de conception.

• Traduirez ce que vous avez appris en un plan progressif pour faire évoluer la planification de production et la coordination des matières sur le site. Vous alignerez tout le monde sur ce que signifie "abouti" à chaque étape.

• Définirez ensuite la cible: cadence de planification, règles de réapprovisionnement, droits de décision, standards de données maîtres. L'objectif est un modèle suffisamment simple pour être réellement applicable un lundi matin.

• Mettrez en place les KPIs et la visibilité dont le site a besoin pour se piloter: OTIF, débit, risque de rupture.

• Pilotez le déploiement ERP sur le site et soyez le référent métier de l'implementation: nomenclatures, gammes, discipline transactionnelle et conduite du changement avec l'équipe.

• Embarquez l'équipe dans le changement: Lancez des pilotes, ajustez en fonction des retours du terrain, formez les équipes aux nouvelles façons de travailler, et veillez à ce que les nouveaux outils remplacent les anciens plutôt que de coexister avec eux.

Ce que nous recherchons

• Master ou Bachelor en Supply Chain, Génie Industriel, Operations Management ou domaine équivalent.
